Another challenge card for Summer Card Camp 2. One of the techniques shown for day two was embossing die cuts to create a faux metal effect. I used MS Antique Gold ep on this gorgeous Memory Box Bella Bouquet die. I also cut it out of foam to create a matching stamp. I used two different shades of purple and one pale blue shade to stamp the bg, using both sides of the stamp. Added Psst Shimmer Spritz in both Sparkle and Gold. The gold splattered a bit but I like how it looks.
I cut a circle out the white shimmer CS and a frame out of brown shimmer cs using SB dies. We learned a really neat tip about mounting images in windows - position the image behind the frame and attach it to the back of the frame with repositionable adhesive. Apply permanent adhesive to the back of the image and adhere the whole piece to the card base. Then you can pull off the frame to pop it up. Easy, and your image is exactly where you wanted it!
This was a bear to get a good picture of, but I think it's really pretty. As always, thanks for looking!
