I believe I am officially relegated to the back door this week's Teapot Tuesday challenge. The theme is planes, and this definitely is not a flying machine. But the worthy recipient did serve in the navy, so surely he has some interest in ships, right? Besides, who can resist a pirate ship and "Arrrgggh" sentiment.
I don' usually do a lot of distressing, but on this I dry-embossed the blue layer and then sanded it to reveal the white core. I also used a layer of ink-splattered paper

I think every good tea party needs a pirate LOL. I love this creation, it is a perfect nautical theme for Trent. The dry embossing looks like a rolling ocean. Wonderful.

This ship may not get to Colombia in time, but it should fly over the ocean with great speed! I love that you did a pirate ship, maybe the pirates can fight off the Colombian orchid lords. I'll save you a few cookies for when you come through the bac door!

I'm happy to see a pirate ship! I have a couple and don't get enough chances to use them. And hey, if we're talking about planes, trains and automobiles I think I ship could be a useful addition to throw into the mix. Super splattering, too. I just can't get mine to look that good!!

Some weeks the back door is where it's at. But, you know that's where the cookies are at too, don't you? I think this card is really cute. Great spattering.
