It has been only a couple weeks since I have had time to make a card and that seems like an eternity...but had a few and my little neighbor's b-day is coming up so wanted to make her a little card.
When |I saw Heather's card here...Birthday Girl by housesbuiltofcards at Splitcoaststampers confirmed my idea of leaving it blank. worked well. I want to leave my little princess blank so Olivia can color her princess, as I am sending a little box of crayons inside.
I kept mostly same lay-out, but changed the image and papers, didnt have the right colored string so used a vine and little flower there on the side and my one bg pink was a scrap paper that already had the corners cut off so I did the same to the white bg base.and just added the happy birthday in the space with a couple " Jewels ". Still added the lace, as princesses need lace and sparkles. Oh and the princess is from coloring pages I just printed off google... thanks for the visit.

Wendy, what a fabulous idea to send a "colouring" card to your neighbour, she will love it, I'd have been delighted to get a card like this as a child - beautiful and thoughtful!
