The minute I opened the site and saw all the silver charms, I thought of Monday's challenge to use Metal Tape. My son-in-law's birthday is coming up and the metal technique is so cool for a guy, I couldn't resist. When I did the challenge first, I did not have black paint and so used black ink....there was a trip to Michael's and this one is done correctly with black paint. I used my cricuit to cut out the letters, stars, crown and banners, my MS balloon punch and wall plaster mesh for additional dimension. I love how it turned out. Great for a guy!!!

Sooo COOL foil tape card! Great b.d. design. And ... me, too! All of the charms made me think of that challenge and there were a couple that were perfect additions to my design (I have yet to go to the building supply store to get the supplies to make the card I sketched.) NICE work!

Vicky, this card is fabulous!! I love the texture you got, and I think the trip for paint was so worth it!! For some reason, I think you will do this technique again!!!

Oh, WOW, Vicky...this is totally awesome and so very creative. It looks like real metal. Your son-in-law better appreciate this and I'm thinking he will.
I think you've mastered this metal technique, for sure.

Vicky, I like this card too! And BTW: you can use alcohol inks with this technique too (even brush a little watercolor over the foil as well). It's easier to rub off paint then alcohol inks, but it can be done. Either way, this is a wonderful card! You son will love it.
