I got to meet this queen in real life this week while she was in Houston with her hubby on a business trip. She actually gave me this very ribbon as a gift. So, thank you, Irene, I used it in this card in your honor. I have to confess this card took me more than 10 minutes because I knew I had some of those rhinestone images, but could not find them. I finally came up with this one, and how perfect is that than it being a crown?? I used a different embossing folder (this may double as a WT card today since it has a chevron pattern!!)
Hope you have a safe trip home, and it was such a wonderful part of my week to have the honor of meeting you. BTW, I never did find my bow maker (I was being timed) so I just tied the thing myself. It would have been better with the bow maker.

That card looks great with a crown for the Queen. What an excellent case. Now I will have to try a bow with some of that ribbon that I, too, have. If I don't show up in the galleries for awhile it will be because I am in a knot and a fit with that big ribbon and my sub-par ribbon tying techniques.

That chevron ef is great for nailing two challenges in one . It looks so effective the way you've used it with the stripes going both ways. SCS meets are fun, aren't they!

Way to go Liz, you rocked this case....The crown was perfect for a Queens challenge... I am honored you found it to case one of my cards... Awesome job on that bow without your bow maker..Thank you for being so kind, if you ever get to Florida, you better look me up. Maybe you could teach me a few of your 10 minutes tricks...I need them..... Hugs
