Which came first ...the chicken or the egg?? One of life's mysteries I guess. Today's challenge was to use chevrons..As I was putting this together I noticed I inadvertently added another set of chevrons with the black and white brad in the corner. How 'bout that! This is also for the monthly theme of duets..things that naturally go together..chicken...egg...yup, I'd call that a pair!

You really have the coolest stuff, Polly and you sure know how to use it! This card is terrific - a great mix of stamps, textures and embellishments. That bit of burlap and the twine with the brad is just such an unexpected touch, and something you are so good at! Love the colors on this card as well. (And you definitely provided lots of chevrons!)

GMTA, I did a rooster too. Love the combination of embossed chevrons and diecut ones. That little touch of burlap just adds to the country flavor here.

Great "Chicken or the Egg?" card, Polly. You are a master of having a story in your cards.....as in this one. Love the rustic country look which is perfect for the farm fresh eggs. The sponging and spattering also add another dimension.
