This week's QFTD172 is to choose a queen A-B. I chose this absolutely gorgeous creation by Audrey Ann whom I admire so much for her talent and sweet spirit.
I came no where close to as pretty as hers, but I used her layout, and same focal image from Waves on the Seachanging the background stamp to the ODBD Fishing Net BG, and changing the sentiment to ODBD Fishers of Men. I added a SB grommet tag and backed it with a scored piece of card stock that I tried to make look like an old weathered board by snipping in to the edges and sponging. I added two brads. Audrey's beautiful card was also colored with copics and mine is only stamped... no coloring at all. I needed a quick card and thought this was about as quick as I could get. My paper is cream and tan leather. The ink is Versafine Sepia.
I also played in today's IC397, loving this Spencer cake... drawing on the the sea coast theme and colors.
Thanks so much for looking!

Your card is so wonderful! I agree, Audrey Ann makes gorgeous cards and her sweet spirit is in every one of them! That verse is so perfect to go with the fishing netting background and the image is so serene and peaceful! The detail about the weathered board just behind your sentiment is so clever!!! Beautiful case!!!
