My good friend Bonnie (bon2stamp) reminded me of the Jingle Belles Christmas card challenge. The new one is called "Cardstock Christmas" - a card with not a single bit of designer paper on it. Not too hard for me as I often make cards with no dp!
Also I still had a bit of my flower soft I made for my last card so thought I'd do something that would use it up. I stamped the Hero Arts branch and sentiment on white cs and mounted it to a green cardbase. Then I randomly dabbed glue on the branch and added my flower soft (grated styrofoam with glitter mixed in) to make it look like bits of snow clinging to the branch. I placed a red bird on the branch.
The card is also for the SCS Christmas Card Challenge.

I love your card. I really want a sentiment stamp of MERRY & BRIGHT. I just love it! I just bought that bird punch so you have inspired me to make a Christmas card with it! Love your branches with snow!

I hadn't thought of adding glitter to the flower soft! Thanks for that idea, Susan! Love this card! There's nothing prettier than an red bird on a pine branch!
