Today we are sending Evelyn a special birthday card. She is turning 100 years young!!!!! We were to use fabric or stitching. I admit, I took the easy route today, as I was lucky I even got this card done with all the interruptions I've had today!! So I used my hexagon punch to make a quilt pattern and did faux stitching for a border. I popped up my sentiment and now it's off to Evelyn. TFL!!

Excellent use of your hexagon punch Mary! Your DPs are all so VERY pretty and with the faux stitching along the border, you have a gorgeous quilt! So glad you made it to the tea party, I just know Ms Evelyn is going to be so happy too!!!

I love the different papers you used for that sweet patchwork quilt. I had the same trouble last time we did quilts and it took a lot of extra bits to make a full rectangle - I was running out of the paper I'd used. Your sort of "exploded" version looks much easier and just as good.
