Yes you can teach an old dog new tricks....today I found a challenge at Silhouette that made me sit and learn something new my machine can do. Faux stitching, imagine that (it will never be a Kokirose stitch, but it sure is nice)
I learned I can print my own background color, made my own shape, add stitching, and then cut it all out - oh my such fun. I will take credit for fussy cutting the boots, I'm thinkin' Stampin' Up does not take too kindly to digitally reproducing their stamps to be cut out. I stamped it on the card front as well so that when I put the pop ups on it you could still see the cross hatch markings from the stamp.
This new faux stitching is quite nice and I can't wait to try it on some other cards.
