This card has already gone out to Evelyn Lamb who is turning 100 years old! This week's teapot Tuesday challenge is to feature quilting, fabric and/or sewing. I used a bargello technique for this (which happens to be the S2S13BB challenge of this week) Evelyn was quite a quilter in her day and I think this card has a bit of a quilty look. I also added faux sewing around the edges, but the ink got a little smudged in the corner. The little lamb addition is a little play on Evelyn's last name. Evelyn is the mother of fellow SCSer 'mymountainhome'.

Love that Bargello technique!!! Your little buttons are "sew" cute! Great vintage sewing machine and stitching all the way around! Your little lammie sticker is so cute too!

Sweet little lamb, Ina. And as soon as I saw your main image I was kicking myself for having been too focussed on a quilt and forgetting altogether about my PB sewing machine stamp, which doesn't get enough use. Your Bargello background looks really great, too.
I had seen about the Toronto floods, just earlier this evening. And Calgary, of course. Too much of everything all over, and no balance is what it sometimes feels like. We're not equipped for this sort of heat any more than we are for snow.
