I am a bit late had to put aside and come back...minor difficulties...he-he...Just wanted to join this challenge still and thought I would make a TY card for male or female...can add a couple flowers or butterflies for a girl...to have on hand and using your province of state or country flower was a neat idea....My province in .b.c....is dogwood, and my growing up province in ./sk...is a tiger lily...didnt have much for them to use, but thought of right away a bag of maple leaves i wanted to use...hasnt been open yet and what a great time to use them...just after canada day too. so here it is.
I stamped a bit more green on it rto get it to match better and just cut the die cuts and layered it added the little swilr and sentiment...easy breezy...welll should have been ...lol...color matching tecky difficulties...lol.l...its funny how one can have like 50 different colors of papers and cant get one to match...lol...thanks for the visit and for all you americans...happy july 4th...:0)

Well, maple leaves are perfect for Canada! I do believe I have both a tigerlily and more than one dogwood ;-).
We used to have some little pie tins (I don't know what you'd call them, a tray that you could make twelve little tarts in. We had two trays, and I'm sure they came with my mother when she moved here from Canada, because they had maple leaves embossed in the bottom of each one.
Great masculine card.

Great idea on this card. Like how you left it open to embellish it later if you wanted too! I have to remember that clever idea. Thanks for adding the facts about the dogwood and lily. Your card enhances the gallery today.

Wendy, the sheer simplicity of your Thank You card is what drew me in - the soft sponging doesn't 'overpower' the Thank You, the swirl and the corner are just right, and your bag of maple leaves sure came handy at just the right time -
