Lovely colours! I must go and look up a little more about the flower - I love the white tips to the heads. It looks more like a lupin than I'd thought.

Lynn, I love this card......love the fold and also the bluebonnet stamping. I have lots of photos of bluebonnets as I go to Austin every spring. Thanks for the link to Lady Bird's activities in regards to the environment. I have so enjoyed the wonderful wildflower displays along the roadsides, and this spring I toured the Lady Bird Wildflower Center with my son. I loved the flowers, but walking in the wilder areas on a quiet day and enjoying the large variety of trees was the best!

Lynn, your card is a great tribute to Lady Bird Johnson. Very pretty with the unique cut out design. thanks for sharing the history of the wonderful things she did for your great state, and our country. It really must be a beautiful site when they are in bloom.

We must have run to our KSS bluebonnets the minute we read the challenge. And then we ended up next to each other in the gallery. Yours always turn out so much prettier than mine and I love that you added the Lady Bird quote. Great that you added that link as well.
