I loved this card by Anna-Karina (http://layersofink.blogspot.com/sear...by-date=false), and took my inspiration from her. My brother-in-law's birthday is the 4th of July, and he loves books, so that determined the colors and theme.
I followed Anna-Karin's great tutorial almost exactly. I used a stencil for the floor instead of a stamp; I created dimension by using pop dots for the books; and, I used fun foam for the chair. The picture doesn't show it, but the chair is embossed. The heart in the frame says "I Love Books".
