I made this for the second cas design team challenge. The challenge was to use woodgrain. I have some woodgrain dp, but a wonderful tutorial for faux woodgrain was provided to I used that. If you haven't seen it, you should check it out. It is really fun and easy.
Here is how I made my card:
Cut a 4" circle and did the faux woodgrain. I started w/light tan paper and used creamy caramel, close to cocoa, and choco. chip ink. I also sponged choco. chip all over mine.
Next I stamped the flowers #countyr morning from SU!# and colored them with a combo of chalks and water color pencils.
Then I stamped 1/2 of a doily from inka-dinka-do and embossed it in white.
I sponged around my woodgrain #a combination of colors. I messed up once reinking! oops!#
I added my flowers w/dimensional tape and finally and hand wrote the sentiment.
Oh, I also used a corner punch and layered onto dark brown cs.
Thanks for looking!

Congratulations, Geni....and Good Luck! Love your Picasso-like take on your CAS card with seeing two dimensions at once...table top and lace doily from above and eye-line view of the flowers in the jar. Very creative!
