Sassy Dawn has a fun challenge for us this week! Bling on the Sun. Summer has arrived and lets see some summer sunshine!
you can check out all the details on the Sassy blog along with some really fun news.
This sweet image is "Sally and Bella head to the beach"
Cheryl has been really busy creating lots of new images- your gonna fall in love with them. head over to the store and check them out!
This life guard tower is from the shilhouette cameo store. I cut it out of white paper then colored and shaded all the tiny little pieces with my prisma and faber castell pencils.
I know I could have made it faster and easier by cutting each piece out of colored paper, but I love the softness of the pencil coloring, you can achieve so much more shading and highlighting with the pencils! The sun is also from the Silhouette, the rocks are freehand cut, and colored by dragging parts of them over a gray ink pad and sponging here and there. some of the grass is from the silhouette, a punch and freehand cut. I sponged the clouds with a template I made on the SC.
Come and get a little Sassy with us and bling on the sun!
This is also for this weeks color challenge!
thanks for stopping by!
hope your day is creative and fun!!

That thud you just heard was my jaw hitting the floor. This is an incredible scene...I don't know where to begin. Your colouring is out of this world, your hand drawn rocks look so real and the clouds are amazing. Everything about this is truly wonderful. TFS
