Hi, everyone! This week's Queen for the Day is one of my Design Team sisters from Our Daily Bread designs, the sweet and talented, Lori Ulrich aka saintsrule.....congrats, Lori girl!! I chose this gorgeous card to re-create, using the "Precious Girl" set by ODBD. I loved the quilted background, so I created a different style of quilt, using one of the sentiment stamps from the "Precious Girl" set stamped onto squares stamped with the "Gingham Background". Since I don't have Copics, the little girl's gown was stamped again, colored with a sponge dauber and ink pad for a smooth look, then paper-pieced it onto the image panel.
The Inspiration Challenge was to choose an item from 'Shop Thomas Paul'.....I used the colors from this ornament set as inspiration for the gingham quilt background. (Please forgive the crooked sentiment....when adhering the image panel to the Spellbinder cut out, the adhesive grabbed ahold before I was ready and I couldn't lift it back off......eek!!!!)
Thanks so much for looking! Have a very blessed day!

What a fabulous background you created for this adorable image! The gingham stamp combined with the "Bless this Child" stamp makes for a gorgeous quilt! You colored your image beautifully. Gorgeous card!
