Stephanie choose a GREAT site for today's IC challenge. She took us to Thomas Paul, a fantastic webstore that is brimming with lots of inspiration, especially CAS style. I chose this pillow as my inspiration:
Every time I see an umbrella, I can't help but think of my "beloved" umbrella man. I adore my die, stamps and emb folder. I haven't made a card with "him" for a while now and this morning, he called to me. Hee!
Trimmed white cardstock to size and cut umbrella man. Cut the canopy from Echo Park paper. Masked the kraft card base and stamped a SU linen background in basic brown. Stamped negative die cut w/same. Masked the linen and stamped a HA newspaper background in same ink. Attached negative die-cut panel over newspaper print and inserted the canopy. Colored the handle (not the hand) w/SU marker. Stamped SU black bird. Stamped IO sentiment, added "flag" to the right. Knotted PTI natural and brown twine together and stapled on.
THANKS FOR LOOKING!

This is so creative! Love what you did with him with the negative die cut. I have this stamp and have yet to use it but your card inspired me to try something! Love your card.
