Cathy's challenge this week is to use vellum. I had fun looking at all the different tutorials using it - in the end I decided to sort of try the Parchment Craft tutorial.
I stamped the flower on vellum cardstock with StazOn white, masked it and stamped the leaves. Embossed from the back with a stylus, and coloured with pencils. I added a little more embossing with the stylus, and then attached it to dark card cut with the same die. It's then layered onto a regular scalloped square.
At this stage I ran out of time because I had several family members staying for a funeral, so I got up early before everybody else and just layered some BoBunny paper onto a 5" square pearlescent silver card base, after adding some narrow silver satin ribbon.

Love what you did with the vellum..Isn't it fun to see the white come out when you emboss the backside. The added touch of color looks fantastic, and putting it on the dark colorstock really lets the colors come through. Fantastic job. tfs
Sabrina this is just beautiful. I like the framing on the dark paper and the bloom is gorgeous. I keep missing you on here. We haven't been crossing paths.
