The You Can Do It challenge for last Monday (I'm always a week late on these!) was to make a telescoping card. I used some pre-made stuff from my stash. The teabag flower with its center was made years ago. I think I got the two layer "so kind" from a class several years ago.
I used markers to color the little (unnamed) flower image. I decided it was time to use the copper shimmer spritz. Not sure if I did it right, but it looks nice IRL.
I had a hard time getting a good photo of the open card. I might do better tomorrow in the daylight.

Very nice telescoping card -- it's soooo warm feeling -- I'm glad you did this kind of a card; I have only seen it in the winter cards as snowmen....Nice job and very inspiring!!
