Dina has asked us to shade a stamped image with black today. And, she's posted a fabulous tutorial that can be seen here.
Here's what I used:
Paper: Fabriano Acquarello Watercolor paper, SU! Basic Black
Ink: Black Soot Distress Ink and Ranger Archival Jet Black
Stamps: Unity Donna Poppy Background, Tim Holtz Mixed Media and Simon Says Stamp
All the other stuff: Bundled Sage and Broken China Distress Paints, Niji waterbrush, Copic W3, Hero Arts pearls, spatula, ATG, Corner Chomper

Lee-Anne, the whiteness of the Fabriano paper is stunning with the color you chose for your flowers. A very artistically done card with a dramatic flair. Beautiful!

I had to check out your blog to see what you did here...I love your image and how you "painted" with distress inks...those flowers are just gorgeous. And your bg with fabulous little artistic bursts of color (applied with a "spatula"!!??) is wonderful..love the green pearls. I would say your mojo hasn't gone anywhere Lee-Anne!!

I really love the bigness and openness of this - I have a hard time leaving things white, so that is something I noticed immediately. Great job with the challenge! I'd challenge you to go deeper with your shading by using a pencil, but I love it just as is too. Thank you for playing along!
