I'm combining a few challenges I never did in this card: CAS222 (Get Trendy - use feathers), WT430 (If Music Be the Food of Love), and TLC433 (Pop Up Part of the Sentiment).
I didn't have any feathers so never did that CAS challenge but saw this bright blue one sitting on the sidewalk while I was out walking my dogs the other day. Feathers of course made me think of birds, so I used a bird with it, and birds made me think of the beautiful birdsong I've been hearing in my backyard lately, so I added the embossed musical background, and then I chose the sentiment I used partly because I'm grateful for the beauty of the birds and partly because it would work well for popping up part of it! Never before have I planned a card this way with random thoughts connecting like this!!!

Gosh - I can't help wondering what the feather came from, but what a lucky find. Your random thoughts connected to make a card that doesn't look random at all!

Absolutely love the colour and the music embossed background. On the sidewalk you say... Wow! Must have been one fabulous looking bird or your neighbours wear some strange things when they go for a walk! LOL

What a pretty feather! I love the way the feather led you to the birds, then the birdsong, then gratitude. I love hearing the birds sing and rarely think to say thank you. Thanks for reminding me.
