I made this for my dad for father's day. It is also for the ways to use challenge -- using only one layer. Wow! Haven't done one like this in a while, but I loved doing it. Great challenge!
I started off w/white cs, put a computer generated verse on it.
Then I stamped my girl from Blueridge Impressions.
I colored in a rainbow with water color pencils.
I was also masking around my girl and verse.
Next I sponged the clouds with gray and bordering blue. I used a circle punch to mask the sun.
Then I cut a peice of copy paper to be the grass shape and sponged around the grass in green galore. Then I flipped my grass and sponged the sky with tempt. turquoise, and bashful blue. I also use my grass template and sponged in more grass with garden green. I colored in my sun with summer sun marker. And, finally I used my scorepal to outline my sentiment. Oh yeah, I added gems for the flowers and a pearl on the back of the umbrella.
Thanks for looking!

Beautiful card that doesn't look like one layer with the expertly done masking and coloring. Your scene is exquisitely done. A treasure of a Father's Day card that your father will cherish.
