This week our cards are headed off to the daughters of a lady that has cancer and has taken a turn for the worse. The daughters are getting prepared to say goodbye to their Mom, which is a hard thing to do. Donna (the Mom), used to sell clothing to women, knowing the clothing and women well enough to dress her clients well.
The silhouette uses the negative of the die cut. First the white has been sponged into the negative. The die cut is then put back into the negative and the purple is sponged.
The hardest part of making this card was the embellishing.
I have to get dinner going, I'll return this evening.

What a neat idea to cut an oval out of the die cut oval.... loving that lace - oh my goodness it is gorgeous! Your image is just fantastic and perfect for this challenge!

Jennifer, what a gorgeous card. Love all the Victorian elements you used and you got all the colors in, too. Really like how you used the silhouette - great idea.
