Our Teaparty this week was to be for Donna, a two time breast cancer survivor. Unfortunately, while preparations for the Teaparty were being made, her health took a turn for the worse. She now has an unidentified form of cancer and she has chosen to not seek treatment. I believe a second update was received and Donna is prepared to have hospice services when needed (perhaps soon.) In the meantime, inasmuch as she is able, she is spending her precious time with family and friends. She has three daughters, three grandsons and three granddaughters. In the spirit of our planned Teaparty, we are making cards to celebrate Donna's life, sending them to her daughters. Up to age 74, Donna sold clothing and had talent and expertise in coordinating outfits for ladies of all shapes and sizes. She also enjoyed Victorian style fashion.
I stamped a Victorian image of a woman sitting in a chair w/her feet up, resting ... which is my hope for Donna. She and her family are in my thoughts and prayers.
My card is also for today's CC, which called for pear pizzaz, old olive and daffodil delight (sub more mustard.) Dessert was flowers, and I have stamped a Hero Arts row of daisies on the inside and on the envelope.
THANKS for looking!
Stamps: Local King Rubber, Neat and Tangled, Flonz, MFT, Hero Arts (flowers inside and on ep)
Paper: Paper Studio, SU
Ink: SU (old olive, pear pizzaz, sub more mustard), and Versafine black

This vintage image speaks perfectly of rest and peace. Your gentle butterfly layers are the perfect backdrop. So sorry for Donna and her family; your card will be a blessing I am sure.
