I am convinced that VSN stands for virtual SMUDGE night! At least it did for me this past weekend!
I made this trellis card for Heidi's fun VSN challenge...also for a recent color challenge (lucky limeade, island indigo, pool party) I knew the summer sun was a bit of a cheat, but the flowers needed some pop. The card was set aside safely for a couple of hours... I picked it up long with another card. Turns out I had a bit of ink on my thumb. Good grief! Funny thing is, I was craving a pink or red for these flowers, but wanted to stick to the color challenge. Oops. This was not the only card damaged by thumb prints this weekend!
Too much work to toss this card, so after taking the pic, I sponged the sentiment a bit more, and dabbed a bit on the big flowers for contrast. The card is going to a local church which allowed my ministry use of their big kitchen and community room for a volunteer dinner

What a fun trellis with the vine embossing folder! I love that you dug out the corduroy buttons! Thanks for playing along, Kim!

I love this card and the trellis you made. I didn't even notice the thumbprint..In the Stamping World, mistakes are opportunities for creativity, and you did great. TFS! :-) LM
