I needed to get my dad's fathers day card made and sent as it takes a while in the mail. My mom was saying the other day on the farm there she was coming home from town and there was a moose on the laneway, so that got me into the moose mode...thank you mom for the story and idea...I was in a craft slump for a neat idea for dad...didnt want to use the normal ties and car things.
Todays challenge was to " POP " up a part of your sentiment, and when I went into google to find a cute moose cartoon to draw for dad, I found this lil picture somewhere...ty mr. google...of a cute moose holding this sign so the 2 worked great together.
I drew him and colored him with water markers and pen, cut out the sign and sponged a few colors of browns yellows and black to make the sign look like wood, and stamped some of the words and wrote the rest except for the raised part. ty to my fellow t-potter friend...Pam M...I used them stickers and raised them up with little squares. I also raised the sign with foamies and cut out his two hooves and raised them so it looked more 3d with him holding the sign. sponged the grass and the clouds around him with paper towel tech and added a couple punched leaves I had on my table to make it woodsy. thanks for the visit.

Your card is delightfully cute! Love the moose, and I am in awe of your talent, there will never be a card you cannot create-you are a "moose-ter" at drawing.
