I stepped out of my comfort zone on this card for Val's VSN Challenge to Strip down Your Card. I put a square of cardstock over my card and sponged to make it look like there was CS under my panel. Then I used a SCS tip to sponge around a punched out scallop to make my clouds. That is the first time I tried that. I kind of like it. I colored the image with SU! pastels, and stamped a Our Daily Bread Bible verse on my card. This is stripped down piece of CS with nothing but ink and chalk. Thank you Val, for getting me out of my comfort zone! TFL

What a lovely card. I really like the sponging you did to make it look like there is cardstock under the white. You did a great job on the clouds. You should be proud of stepping out of your comfort zone - you did a beautiful job. This stamp set is one of my all time favorites - one that I will always keep.

Beautiful Sharon. Good for you using a mask to sponge the edges, a great way to add dimension to a one-layer card. Love that Scripture. Thanks for playing in my VSN challenge.

You should step out of your comfort zone more often, this is a great card!

Wonderful choice of verse. I love how you made the clouds...I am going to have to try that. I love the SU set you used on this...I need to dig that out and use it again, one of my favorites. Thanks so much for participating on our Bible Verse Challenge. :-)
