What a super Inspiration site! I was inspired by these Cake Tins for the colors, little puffy clouds and outdoor scene. I'm combining this w/ the first VSN challenge, and in Lee's fabulous gallery, I cased her Oh Boy! card. I kept the baby boy theme and general layout and colors, but I fussy cut the main image and left off the pearls.
After coloring this sweet little boy w/ copics, I cut him out. I used Spellbinders circle dies to cut out the sentiment and yellow layer. I attached a big piece of blue gingham on the front of my 4.25 x 5.50 card then a slightly smaller blue polka dot on top of it. A strip of green gingham was attached across the bottom and some die cut grass on top. I used a moon/star border punch on a narrow strip of blue gingham and attached a slightly wider strip of yellow gingham behind it before attaching the sentiment and little boy.
The half moon was created using a large circle punch on the yellow gingham then I inserted the circle and punched a portion of it using the same circle punch to get my half moon. I added some punched clouds and stars to finish my card.
Thanks so much for looking! And get well soon, Lee! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.
