Better late than never - today we are getting buckets of rain - been raining since last night, but then I had some time to browse Tater's gallery, before picking up my DGD from daycare, and was inspired by this beauty to make a western card, as they are the ones that touch her sweet Texan heart!
Had an image sent to me that was begging to be used here (thanks, Sherry)sponged an "old" look on it and also the paper that I printed up the words from Home on the Range and ran my SU music notes wheel across before I cut the oval out with a nestie, and backed it with a RRHR oval layer. Used the RRHR and Garden Green because they were both in the ribbon, along with the brown and kraft colors. Added some twine and left a sentiment off till I know what I am using it for. The Twisted Sistahs challenge was to make a card with a square, a rectangle and an oval, and there's a little bit of yellow in the ribbon for some extra points!! Wishing you a wonderful week, Tater - you are so deserving of this tribute, and I could not be happier for you!!

Great image and I love how you did the shading - looks aged and like a really cool picture. Super case of Tater and wonderful Western Card. I did a western card for Tater too (and put pink inside - LOL). Miss ya my friend - hope things are going well for you!

Greenie's gone Western on us...and did a magnificent job I might add! Darling sheet music really sets the scene for this lone cowboy silhouette!
Great card!!
