I was privileged to meet both our challenge hostess Sabrina and her DH when my DH and I were in Dublin a little over a year ago. They are a great couple so I couldn't miss out on Sabrina's challenge today and wanted to honor them and take the opportunity to wish them both a Happy Anniversary!
I threw this card together really quickly this morning before I ran out the door this AM to drive my son 3 hours to the airport. I started out with a different idea in mind, but had to shift and make it work so I wouldn't be late. No music instruments in my arsenal so I went with a bird and music notes. I embossed the notes onto the bird in black ep. I added some Indigo marker details and also took a black marker to go around the edge to help it stand out. I embossed the base of Pear Pizzazz and perched my bird on a branch. I added an Indigo twine accent on the top. I stamped my sentiment and punched it then layered it on an embossed piece.

We had our low-key anniversary meal in the same place we had our meal together with you .
I always love bird images paired with music so this is a winner in my book, Gail. I really like the contrasting texture of the base and mat layer for the sentiment.
