This card started out to be all ivoryÂ…with different butterflies and leaves. The butterflies were too large and the leaves too flourishy. After many tries I got the card completely finished on the outside, only to realize I had glued the whole thing on upside down! Plan B. :-) Cut it off, make the card body Crumb Cake (adding an extra layer and now it is the size the card originally started out as. I had cut it down so I could use a square panel that was already embossed). I kept much of the same design and elements but mine is square instead of standard and I used different colors, ovals instead of rectangles, pearls instead of brilliants and put the bow in a different place (my husbands contribution to this card was the placement of the bow! J)
I apologize profusely for lateness of this entry.

Regardless of how you started out, the finished card is beautiful! I had to laugh out loud when I read all the problems you had with it. I have been there many times! lol But my accidents don't turn out as beautiful as this!
LOL I just did a card upside down last card! I messed it up taking it off and fixing it! This is a gorgeous card regardless! It jumped out of the gallery at me.
This is so lovely Peggy. I like the texture and the angle of the leaf. I haven't been online much. I've been really sick with bronchitis for close to a month. Better now. Love your card.

Wowza! This is absolutely gorgeous! Ah..the trials and tribulations! I love the neutral and the way it was designed...no matter what it started out to be. I do believe it's called 'The Creative Process'! LOL

Peggy, this is STUNNING! Beautiful work, my dear, despite the challenges you encountered. Can't tell you how often I've had to redo things due to the upside-down factor. I would call it a happy accident for sure as this is amazing. Thank you so much for playing and for your very kind words, sweet lady! Hugs!

That upside down thing is just a wonderment to me. I've done it so many times I've lost count and it just floors me every time I do it. Your card is perfectly lovely, as always!!!

...sure its got a catchy beat, but can you stamp to it?

And I'm late to your gallery to see this card. Very pretty, Peggy. I like the little pearls you used in the body of the butterfly. The die cut leaf is a nice addition to the focal image as well. Very nice my friend.

Sound like a page out of my book. I've glued upside down so many times - well, it is, after all a 50-50 shot! I've never seen those cute pear butterfly bodies - love them. At least you recovered well .... this card is beautiful!!!
