Believe it or not, this is a graduation card for one of our high school cheerleaders. She's a "flyer", so I thought the Elizabeth Craft Designs bird in our school colors would be appropriate.
I started by brayering a mix of regular and Distress acrylic paints onto cardstock to create the sky. I used torn paper for the grass, and created the signpost from a tongue depressor. It was embossed with a woodgrain ef and sponged with Distress Ink. The clouds were fussy cut from a scrap of patterned paper; the butterflies are a MS punch. I printed the sentiment on the computer, cut the words apart and added to the card. It was pretty cute, but when I doodled the edges of the words and signpost, and outlined the clouds, it really punched it up a notch!
This card meets the challenges TLC430 - Crazy Stitching, WT429 - Doodle Defined, and MIX17 - use two different mediums with a different finish on your card - one smooth and one rough.
As always, thanks for looking!

Delightful creation! You must have done the ECD bird in clear or white. Whatever you did is amazing. Lovely design!
