I think I might have over doodled my card. hehe When I saw the challenge for today I got all excited and starting looking for designs in things that I could doodle.
Before I took off in my truck, I quickly doodled a tree with branches to ease my mind. I thought when I got home I could actually stamp some leaves on my doodled tree.
WELL, at my first pool I happened to notice the screen door and it's design. It looked like a half sun with rays going out to the edges of the door. SO, I now knew what I was going to doodle.
Got back in the truck and quickly put my pen to paper. I drew the shape of a card, the half circle for the sun and then put my pen to paper and without lifting it I doodled the sun rays.
When I got home, I redid the whole design adding doodles in between the rays and then more doodling. Colored my image with w/c pencils in different shades of yellow leaving off the water part.
Put my panel on a kraft card, adding a button for the door knob and a couple of doodled hinges. I also printed out on vellum the sentiment that I sort of spelled wrong. OOPS!...should have put a space in there.
Well there you have it, one over doodled card! Hope you actually can see a sun here. hehe......TFL :0)

As soon as I saw the challenge this morning, I immediately thought of you and what fun you would have with it. Yeah! Your brought the sun. And what a doodling masterpiece this is, MutNut! It was a challenge custom-made for you! The vellum sentiment is inspired.

Yes, definitely over doodling; I knew this was right up your alley, but I didn't think you'd create a whole entire card with doodles! Yikes! I guess you have a perfect job that allows you to get wonderful ideas for cards! How about that? I do love your Mister Sunshine, and your sentiment was so creatively done on the see-through vellum~

Hi Cathy! I've been MIA forever and a day! So happy to see one of your cards right off the bat when I got on here! Can't remember the last time I had a chance to look in the gallery? I love your bright sunny sun or it could have been a bright sunny sunflower too? The challenge did have your name written all over it! Wish like every one else that I could doodle like you do! Hope all is well and good with you and your kids and grands!
