This is for the Ways to Use It today challenging us to doodle on our cards. Well, like Toni, I am no doodler, but that's what these challenges are about right? Stretching ourselves!
I traced a stencil of a hat on bronze and ivory card stock, paper pieced them and doodled a herringbone pattern on the hat band with a gel pen. Then lightly sponged it. Was a little shaky from not eating this morning, so it's pretty amateur doodling!
I used metallic card stocks and was going for dapper but in retrospect it kind of looks like what a pimp might wear. Maybe I shouldn't send it! LOL. I had to angle the card for the photo as there was just too much glare coming off it, so you can't see the shimmer.
Thanks to Anne Dodd for the feather!
Thanks for looking and have a wonderful day!

Not eating - that's not good! But I can't say it looks shaky to me, and it certainly is perfect to go with the herringbone embossing. Love that feather, too. I think you should definitely use this .

I did not think pimp until you mentioned it. What I did think was you created a might nice looking hat with doodles. You even used a feather which could make this count as Monday's CAS challenge too. :>)

Hey there Divine Ms. M......I have a question: are you on vacation this week? yikes, what a pleasant surprise to sign in after months of being away and I come upon your card. Yup, it's got a little hint, shall I say, of being a primp's ....oh I mean pimp's card. I think I just might know the intended recipient and I'm thinkin' he may just love this. It's so him, don't you think? This will really get him started on a whole new direction of a possible career change. I love your card. It's got a manly design with your primp....I mean pimp hat, and it's done in grand masculine colors/papers. Not too bad on that whole doodling thing either!
