I made my own memo cubes to try it out first. We have a large industrial cutter where I work and the blade is 31/2 inches high. I have my own little padding press to glue them. It was a little time consuming - because they are so thick, I put three coats of glue and had to wait for each coat to dry. I read though that one lady bought reams of paper when it was real cheap and took it to a copy place (Kinkos?) and had them cut and pad for her into cubes - I think she said they charged her 50 or 75 cents a piece for them? I looked at the Dollar store, but didn't find any. Hope this helps. You could also buy light colors of paper instead of white.
Wow what a beautiful gift. What kind of glue did you use? One time someone told me the name of the glue to use to make notepads and I lost the information. TIA
