I couldn't resist making another for this week's color challenge this one is also based on a necklace from Jennspendants, this time a tree with some Script behind it. I decided to go in the Mixed Media direction for this one. I used matte white Gesso on a dictionary page to begin. I then used MS chalk ink to swirl on some color. I put a circle over this and tore around it. I added some sponging and used a wet paintbrush to move around some of the color. Rather than add stamped script I just let some of the print show through. I framed behind this with Brushed Silver to mimic the necklace. I die cut a tree and birds. Both my tree and the card base have wood grain embossed on with a Texturz plate. I sponged a bit of color onto the birds and the bg embossing. I rounded the top corners of the card base. I inked my sentiment with Versamark then Island Indigo and embossed in clear.
