I had a few issues with this card until I stumbled upon a piece of pink, dry embossed paper that I'd used one of my first dry embossed folders on, several months ago. After that, I knew where I wanted to go with it. I used MFT Fishtail die on black cardstock, then heat embossed pink diamonds on it. Next, I cut a white and black MFT Sentimental Flourish and glued them just slightly apart for impact where needed. I stamped the Moulin Rouge and distressed and inked the edges. I also used another stamp from an unknown set and heat embossed it in black, again distressing and aging the edges. A sequined ribbon and Eiffel Tower, clipped to the page with a rhinestone brad finished it off. Well, almost. Never being one to 'leave well enough alone', as my grandma Ora always said, I had to try the new copper rub I'd gotten earlier. Whether this made the piece better or worse, I don't know. What I DO know is that there are very few impulses I can actually control so here we are.
