Here is my first card for yesterday's IC challenge. We ventured to an Etsy shop called jennspendants for inspiration. The shop was FULL of cool stuff and lots of "moon" themed jewelry pieces. I was inspired by several, including this one:
Since last fall, my sweet Mom has been having a super hard time. Her most recent medical journey started with surgery on May 2nd, and since that time she has been in the hospital five more times. She had to have life-saving surgery last Thurs. to repair an abdominal artery aneurysm and a very large abdominal hematoma that the surgeon told us, was "waiting" to burst and cause more problems. She is progressing slowly but the drs/surgeon have noted some improvement, which is encouraging. On Sat., she told me she couldn't sleep on Fri. night and was watching the moon out her hospital room window. I thought rather than another "get well" or "feel better" or encouragement card, this might be more fun to surprise her with. Hope she likes it.
THANKS for looking!

How thoughtful and unique to give your mom this lovely creation! I'm sure it will bring a big smile and great comfort. I hope she is on the mend quickly.
