I made this card for this week's Twisted Sister Challenge, The challenge for this week is to make a card with the theme of "Humor" Anyone is welcome to join this challenge. Just put in the keyword, TSC0524.
I find making humorous cards a challenge, but I think most people like these cards, so I hope to try and make more in this theme.
My rubber stamped image is unknown to me, I borrowed it from a friend, and stamped it what had to be a dozen times. I like it that much, #Besides my hubby is willing to color it for me# Jim colored it for me with copics, and I added a computer generated Sentiment, and added two stickers.
The inside reads:
The most remarkable thing about my mother is that...For 30 years she served nothing but left overs. The original meals have never been found. ~Calvin Trillin.
I could have said this about my mother-in-law she was the most amazing cook, and mostly used left overs and what ever she had on hand. Her meals always tasted like they came from the most expensive restaurant.

Yikes! The man is coloring again?! I l-o-v-e that! Jill, I still have the card you made for me using this image, and IRL it is even finer! Love every detail. Your inside senti is fabulous! Oh my goodness, my boys grew up on left overs! Once they asked a friend to stay for dinner, and he shrugged it off, saying "leftovers". And Jason said ' "no, it's fresh" and the boy said, " dude, your mom could make leftovers from scratch"! Lol. Everybody has a rep. Love your card.

That DH is making himself indispensable with his fantastic copic coloring - my guess is that he gets as much pleasure out of coloring your images as you get out of making your cards!
Love how this turned out with the cupcake and utensils, but love the sentiment and the story about your MIL's cooking too! How wonderful is that?? hugs!

What a great card Jill! I love the image and the inside sentiment is wonderful. I love making meals from leftovers, but never seem to have time to make originals - LOL. Fun card. Hugz!

That hubby of yours sure can color! What a lovely image ... I would have stamped it off a dozen times or more, too. This is a wonderful humorous card, try not to be so hard on yourself! A lovely creation that had my eyes popping out the minute I opened the thumb nail! Love it!
