Instead of a flower image...I chose to use an image from Sugar Nellie, "Hope" The image was colored with copics by my husband. Eooo,m RV0000, E00, E01, RV000, Eooo, Yooo, E33, R02, C0, B000, BG10, C3.
I used a cuttlebug folder for my background, I inked it with Stampin' Up Baja Breeze.
Emily, I hope you enjoy your reign as Queen for a Day, I know I sure enjoyed mine last week. A very special time.

That is some of the most beautiful coloring I have ever seen! What a darling image/creation. Thank you so much for playing today and for your kind words. I have a lot of catching up to do on the QFTD challenge now that I finally found the thread! Congrats on your reign, too!

The coloring is wonderful. Before I read your description I had decided it was a print you used, so be sure to pass the praise on to your DH (what a handy resource to have around the house)

Jill, a beautiful and sensitive card with the lovely girl who you have colored so expertly. Love her sweet, pensive look. The gingham ribbon adds a "homey, old-fashioned" feeling and the bg panel is soft and pretty.

Jill, your BG technique really looks fabulous - you are really pouring out the talent with all these great techniques you have been trying - your DH did a fantastic job coloring the Sugar Nellie, and YOU did a great job coming up with the perfect colors to match her!

Beautiful card!!! I just love your colors!!! The way you did your background with the embossing and coloring is so pretty and then hubby's coloring the image to match perfectly with your background frame and lovely ribbon! Just a delight!!!
