A Shout Out to Colleen aka smoatsmom for being featured this week. What a cool gallery. Beautiful cards, but simple enough for anyone. I saved SO many, but realized I had time to case only one today and it was this one.
My changes:
Flipped card and changed dp
Extended strips all the way down
Put computer generated sentiment on top
Inked edges
I LOVE cards with strips of any kind and one reason is that I can use my 1" strips from the 12x12 dp. Whether I copied or just got an idea for this sentiment I can't remember, but when it turned up on my table today, I made a copy and used it.
Colleen enjoy your time in the lights. You are one good cardmaker.

Carol, you have the same wonderful sense of color and design as Colleen as shown on this card of yours. Many of her cards featured strips of DP. Love the colors and patterns you chose for your card.

Carol, I'm with you on making cards to use up 1" strips of patterned paper! You did a fab job of combining beautiful patterns, paired with that amazing sentiment.
Thank you for the kind words, and for honoring me with a card this week. Hugs!
