I have to say that browsing Colleen's gallery was one of the most enjoyable browsing experiences ever. I kept favoriting cards, totally forgetting that I had to pick one to CASE. The more I looked, the further from choosing one did I get. So I went back to the first one I opened: I've Got Sunshine by Smoatsmom at Splitcoaststampers
I am so not a palm tree girl, more of a northwoods girl, so I have no idea why I chose this one. But I do have a palm tree stamp and there I went. I also liked her use of doily stamps on other cards so hit on the idea of making my doily stamp the sun. I did get a lot of inspiration from Zindorf too. I used the distress inks directly on the paper, after I had stamped the doily in yellow with a bit of orange and then clear embossed. I also sponged around the doily to give it more definition. Up to you if it's sunrise or sunset.

Jean, you touched my heart with your kind words about my gallery. Thank you so much! I'm glad you had fun looking through it, and forgot why you were there in the first place. LOL
LOVE your peaceful beach scene, and am SO glad you took inspiration from my doily suns! I like the Zindorf feel to this. That's the first thing that popped into my mind when I saw this, then saw the palm tree and figured out which card you had CASE'd.
Thank you bunches for honoring me with a card for my week as FS!
