This melted crayon technique was done by my fifteen year old granddaughter and I told her IÂ’d post it to show the world. She put enough crayon on to make it run down the iron then just pressed it on the cardstock without doing any rubbing. We added color where needed after the first press. Then she took the aqua painter and ink pad and colored in all the spaces. Added the stamped flower in black (blackÂ…I didnÂ’t ask why but it does work well) she also filled in the space on the flower the same way as the background. I stamped the delight with black StazOn.
This will hang on her wall. The size of the colored panel is 4.25” X 5.50” then we matted it with a super heavy black c/s and then the orange.

Very pretty. I see she must take after her grandmother. If she does, that would be great. I haven't tried this crayon melting yet, but I have my iron sitting right here so when the mood hits me I can.

Wow! Tell her she gets her talent from you. Her BG is gorgeous. Who would have thought to be creatively different and do it like she did. I love it. TFS
