Since the sewing machine is dusted off, I made another card for the Justrite Sew Good Challenge. I started off with some damask paper and overlaid the filigree delight die over it. The oval center was a bit too plain so I watermarked it with the large floral image from JustRite Grateful Hearts stamp set. It's very subtle but I think it added some detail without making the card too busy. I sewed around the oval and layered the sentiment on top of that. To fill in the empty spaces, I added roses and some green leaves/flourish. Finally, I white embossed a butterfly from the Botanical Butterflies set on colored vellum and did a bit of fussy cutting. I added some pearls to finish off the card. Thanks for looking!

I am still laughing..... I love it when the boys bring their work pants to be mended because that alone dusts off the sewing machine and I then can sew something else. Such a lovely airy card with swirls and sweetness all over.
Thank you for taking time out your day to post this beautiful project with us at Word Art Wednesday,
