A Brithday card for a Briard Friend, who is also my SU! Demo. The background is the cavas colored with watercolor crayons, green in grass areas, blue sky, and yellow sun in corner. The 'Lilac tree" is a combo of Just vines and the Painted Posies. The tag, welcome sign and Braird on the botton are all shrink plastic, which I added a couple of layers of UTEE to for a nicer finish.

I am the lucky recipient of this wonderful card! There's a lot of details here, and I love them all. The Twinkling H20's on those tiny cut out Hollyhocks, the masked gate with the shrink plastic "Welcome," and that tree you created - brilliant! Love those "paws" hanging over the gate - too cute! The shrink plastic pieces are great touches, and that background you did is amazing! All the coloring is wonderful, and I love the effect of that sunshine glowing in the corner. I really wish everyone could see this in real life. It took a lot of creativity, planning and skill to make this card. Bravo, Karen, and thanks again! Linda

WOW Karen. This is beautiful! I have pictures of my Briards with paws over a gate just like that! I love all of the detail, the coloring, the sun, the lilac tree, oh, just everything about it. Linda is one lucky Birthday girl! I can't wait to see this IRL! You have outdone yourself.

Oh my, Karen! What a beautiful little scene! I think I've fallen in love with that Briard. Did you shrink the tag? Is that what I'm seeing here? If so, I can't believe what a cute idea that is! Also, the way you created the Lilac tree--there's so much creativity showing in this card and I love it!
