A big congrats to Silke (silli), the Featured Stamper! What a big, beautiful gallery she has and after much browsing, I chose her Penny Black for the layout but I noticed she has quite a few cards w/ a green/purple color combo and I really like those colors. So I kept her layout and punched sides, but I changed the colors, used different images and changed the theme from Christmas to western.
To begin, I sponged the green inks across the bottom of white card stock and the purple, blue-violets across the top. The cowboy garb was stamped on part of it and cut out. The rest became the layer behind the image. I used a southwest border punch down both sides of the dk purple/violet panel. The main part of the sentiment was die cut and the "Y'all" part was stamped and punched w/ the smallest one of a multi tag punch.I stamped the accessories on the white panel and attached the fussy cut hat and boot and added some shading w/ copic markers. The finished card is 5.50 x 4.25.
Congrats again, Silke, and enjoy your week! For all the details, please see my blog: The Write Stuff
