Today's challenge is to try something new or different.
I've had my PearlEX forever and never use them. I bought Gum Arabic to use with them and never tried it, so today was the day.
This is a sneak peek of a set to be released next week by Mark's Finest Papers, aHC, during the blog hop. It is called Lily of the Valley. I colored my image with Copics and then mixed the gum arabic and PearlEx together and painted it on and then smeared it to add color to the sentiment panel.

Isn't it amazing how HARD colors (black, dark green) can give a soft look by adding white?! Love the bg texture, Vicky!

Very pretty Vicky! I love this new image and I have never used gum arabic! Have to look in to that. Love your texture and shimmer!

I know Perfect Pearls are fun to use, I'm glad I don't have to add the extra step of using gum arabic. I can bet this looks lovely and shimmery in real life - and I love that Lily of the Valley image. They always remind me of my mother.

That's a new one to me! I have Pearl Ex still in my stash from years ago too, but I've never used gum arabic. I'm sure it is even prettier IRL-love the lilies, I had some in my last yard and I miss them.
