Today's WT Challenge is to do something you've never done before. Since I love challenges I've done quite a few of the techniques in the tutorial section but had never tried a tissue paper flower. The only color tissue I had on hand was yellow so that's what I used. Once I had the flower crumped and assembled I didn't quite like the look so I spritzed it with Rose Red ink mixed with alcohol which turned the bright yellow orange. I found DP that I liked with the flower and edge it with an edgelet and also edged the white for the background and added a strip of Pumpkin Pie at the top. I used a sentiment from Whimsical Words and added pearls to the card front.

I've never made one of those flowers, either, although I made lots of tissue paper flowers of a simpler variety with my preschool students for years! I like the color you achieved with the spritzing ink onto the tissue - lovely sunshiny card!

Wow what a beauty! Love your layout and how the flower compliments it. I have to try that technique. Thanks for pointing it out.
