I'm so honored that the Color Challenge Team invited me to be a Guest Designer this month. My DH gave me craft $$ to spend for my birthday and I got a bunch of fun dies and ef's that I'm enjoying playing around with.
Our colors this week are Basic Grey, Pink Pirouette and Blushing Bride with a dessert of flowers and your choice of green for greenery. I started with my bg that I embossed in Tim Holtz Bricked ef that I had inked on the negative side with Basic Grey ink. I also sponged on a bit more grey after embossing. I knew I wanted to use my new window die so I cut that and the window box in Whisper White. I sponged a bit of grey along the edges to help them stand out against my brick wall and I popped the window box with dimensionals. I put up some wallpaper behind my window in Blushing Bride dp. My small fanciful flourish is cut in Wild Wasabi and my flowers are in Pink Pirouette with Silver Liquid Pearl centers. My sentiment is stamped in Basic Grey and die cut it with the Bitty Banners Framelit and then sponged in the die with Blushing Bride. I curled the whole sentiment and then curved up the banner ends. I lined the inside of the card with Whisper White and added another flourish and flowers as well as the sentiment, "Hope today finds you feeling as loved as you really are!"

Gail, congratulations on your "guest designer" post. Lovely card with the window and a DP that looks like lace curtains inside. The brick EF gives a perfect texture for this exterior view.
